Grad day

I took my master in design and finished it on 2011. The last period of my single life. It's funny how you browse into old photos, and the memories flood back. After the grad, I got back to my home town, started being assistant to some of my senior lectures, sit-in at the class, and then start lecturing. I called my first (and still!) experience entering class as a stand up comedy. Amazing how I should overcome the nervousness being in front of student crowds, in short age span with me. Felt like I'm the smarty pants standing babbling trying to get attention from the kids. Sometimes, there were my seniors, and it brought awkward moment for us, I believe, what they should call me? miss? mam? my name? (Calling only one's name is improper here, though).

It makes me grin to remember those moments, but got the chance to study a further more, becoming friends with new people, and studying another language is a golden moments, and brought something more to learn. At least for me.

Can I say, 'The after party'?

hello.

What so smelly??

And a quick post while I did some meeting a week ago. Bringing my baby by my side. Not even a clear picture, no purpose intended, just a snap in between. The meeting was boring, just so you know.

When will I be myself again?

Seriously, almost 3 months after giving birth, I feel like my weight stuck. Really stuck, 10 kilos heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight. I nurse my baby, so I know it's better to go with the flow, watch-what-you-eat than skipping meals, but still, deep down in my heart, i want to wear my old burgundy jeans again. Because, you know, they're in right now. But those things only fit around the tights, no less. Ha.

I wonder what makes Miranda so skinny before and after giving birth. Even when she is still pregnant. Life is a little bit unfair sometimes. And fyi, I do have a mama crush on her. I'm currently file almost all her picture I got in the internet. I'm such a stalker. Hot mama stalker. Anyone out there who has cool blog and cool kid and cool style, I'd stalk your blog. Muhhaha.

The moral of this post, is how I wish I was able to wear my burgundy jeans right after the delivery. And those extra 10 kilos to just swoosh away. Eh, maybe wearing a red jeans will be delightful, after I shed the tights' fatty fat.

I'm coming soon updating the weights, if there's any good news to be updated.

See ya.

First Post for This Year

This year, I'm gonna start it by becoming a mom, to a girl who's apparently loves throwing tantrum, even at the 2 months old of age. Parenthood ahead seems very exciting, I slowly regain from sleep deprivation madness, and start adapting to my baby's daily schedule (hope she's adapting ours, too).

baby happy in beanie

It's been two months since baby's here. Happy two months old, baby! Can't wait to tote you around, accompanying me for shopping, girl talk and so on.

Until then. See ya.

No JOKE

So seriously guys.
On November third, my daughter was born. I was happy. Very happy, although she spent her first 5 days at the hospital because of jaundice.

And finally I brought her home, with tears of joy. Now those joys exist, just mixed a lil (much) with tears of sleep deprivation, cold, and never ending nights waiting for your baby to get to sleep.
Now I really now what it feels to be a mother. Happy, but TIRED (flashing fonts please!)

little miss 2 weeks escape her blanket

She's about 3 weeks from now, and speaking of which, it's gonna be a long journey for me to be sleep soundly every night. I wish I was a night clubber.

See ya. Xo.

Happily Ever. After?

Found this touching picture, too bad I can't remember where it from. This is what we call 'reality'. Snow white is still pretty, while the prince is not that charming anymore. There are bills to pay and kids to look after. And also a dog. Ha! Take that snow white. However she has beautiful house and cute kids. And somehow she's still able to maintain her pretty princess style ;)

Mini-honeymoon

The bridge on 5pm. Wind-on!
the end of the ride.
Excuse me for the stupid expression, it's difficult to stay balance on a bike while holding your phone from being swept ;)

Last week, replacing our delayed vacation, husband and I decided to take a motorcycle ride crossing suramadu bridge (crossing a short strait). The bridge divided for car, and a small alley for motorbike. One thing for sure, it's really windy out there, especially when you're in the middle of the bridge. I felt like we'll thrown by the wind anytime! It's pretty good anyway, besides, I'm so boring being a homebody for the moment.

Please come home, Garfield.

1, 2&3

Can't believe that this is happening, I lost my kitten. Not that he ran away himself, instead, I somehow accidentally let him go. One day on my way to the train station to take my dad, in a crowded intersection I heard a rumbling noise below my car, and suddenly a cat -that sparkled a thought 'hey, it look like Garfield, but no way that it is him'- crossed the street running. Three days later, I just realized that Garfield, which only 7 months old is gone, not just went to play around like sometimes he used to. And I responsible for this. And it's true that the cat running across the crowded traffic that day was Garfield, my cat. That he was sleeping below the car, didn't hop like he used to when I open the garage door. He was carried by me, and finally escaped, scarily, about 1 mile away from home.

It's been 3 days I've been looking around for him, and I found nothing. No signs of my lovely Garfield. I can't believe this is happen, and I keep wondering how he's going now. Is he fed already? Is he cold? Looking at the cat images above, and everywhere, make me teary-eyed and feel so guilty, down in my dumps.

Hope you're okay out there, and please come home.

Lazy Days

via weheartit

Spending holidays as newlyweds practically doing nothing. My husband went to work at 7.15 am and got home at 5.45 pm, leaving me lounging alone at home. Just eat, doing silly yoga poses, sitting in front of the computer browsing. Oh man, I need to get out of this rut, I'm free until mid-february! What would I do until then?? Weee.. working on some projects, of course. But I DO need to get out see the world, ya know? ;)

Officially Mrs

via weheartit

OK. Soo I'm officially married now. A week ago exactly, but I just realized how a week fly by. No honeymoon yet, because our (actually his) job not allowed us to go somewhere far for now. So we just hit the town. To me, there's no big differences being married than what used to be, the single me. But I'm happy (I snored a lil', by the way) haha! have a great monday, anyway.

Sit down enjoying the holiday moment. Start to feel bored, have no thing to do, no homework.
Ah, the smell of holidays. I'm gonna miss this moment, though.

Snow White Shoes

Images via here, here and here

In search for the perfect white sneakers. Am I too old for wearing one? These shoes, in my opinion, is very preppy, and I was pretty far from graduation day. The first and third I love the most, while the second one is approachable. We should own at least a pair of sneakers beside heels, again, in my opinion.
